Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-7141 (?)
- SCP-7141 is a black and gold hardcover book that, when touched by a living person, instantly fills its 1000 pages with the entire story of that person's life, including future events. While reading about the future might change a person's actions, the book updates itself to reflect these changes. The book also allows a reader to change their future by writing new events or crossing out old ones, but these edits often lead to unexpected and usually negative consequences. The Foundation uses SCP-7141 to proactively identify potential containment breaches by having staff read their future employment records.
- Goiânia accident (?)
- The Goiânia accident was a severe radioactive contamination incident that occurred in Goiânia, Brazil, on September 13, 1987, after an abandoned radiotherapy unit containing highly radioactive Caesium-137 was stolen from an old hospital. Scrapyard workers and their families unknowingly handled the glowing blue powder from the broken source, leading to widespread contamination. This tragic event resulted in four deaths, with 249 people found to be contaminated and approximately 112,000 examined for exposure. The extensive cleanup involved demolishing houses and removing contaminated topsoil, and the incident is recognized as one of the world's worst radiological disasters.
