Feature description

I'd like to suggest adding a gesture-based video control feature to enhance the playback experience:

• Horizontal swipe on the right side of the screen to seek through the video:
  • Swipe right → Fast forward
  • Swipe left → Rewind
• Display visual feedback while swiping (e.g., +10s, -5s)
• Include a toggle option in the player settings to enable/disable this feature
• Limit functionality to landscape mode only to avoid accidental activation

Why do you want this feature?

This kind of gesture is commonly used in popular video players like Samsung Internet and MX Player. It provides:

• Quick and precise video seeking
• An alternative to using the seek bar or double tapping
• A more comfortable and intuitive user experience, especially for longer videos

Additional information

This would be a great addition to NewPipe’s player and significantly improve usability. I hope it will be considered for a future release.
