Feature description

Add an option for the player to automatically mute the video when a profane word is detected in the subtitles, and unmute when the word is no longer present. This is similar to functionality implemented by Advanced Profanity Filter for browsers.

Why do you want this feature?

This feature would be helpful for users who wish to avoid hearing profane or inappropriate language, but still want to watch videos with subtitles. It adds a family-friendly option and gives more control over playback experience.

Additional information

It could work with a user-provided list of words to mute, or use a default list. Optionally, allow users to customize the mute duration for each detected word.

No sketches or mockups yet, but happy to provide ideas if needed.
