Feature description

Auto clear watch history on certain period. Typically 30 days. More period options are appreciated.

Why do you want this feature?

They just pile up. Doesn't feel like a clean experience. We could turn off history completely. But it disables watch positions (seems to be fine to have positions for a month of history).

Additional information

Execute the clearing of old history of a given period pretty much everyday. Typically around 12 AM. Or whenever we're using the app. This'll keep the history clean forever.

Hi, I'd like to take on this issue. I plan to implement it so that the watch history is automatically cleared every 30 days.

As explained in our Readme that NewPipe is going through Rewrite phase: till then, Please do not open pull requests for new features now, only bugfix PRs will be accepted.

Edited: You may pick issues to fix some bugs here, but keep in mind review process may take time due to lesser time our developers have currently if that's okay with you please go ahead.

Why not open PRs directly into refactor branch ? Legacy code is going to be refactored anyways.
