  • I have read the FAQ and my problem isn't listed.
  • I'm aware that this is a request for NewPipe itself and that requests for adding a new service need to be made at NewPipeExtractor.
  • I have taken the time to fill in all the required details. I understand that the feature request will be dismissed otherwise.

  • I have read and understood the contribution guidelines.

Feature description

Background:

NewPipe knows when a video is paid content or is age-restricted as NewPipe prints the following messages after selecting these types of videos:

  • Paid content:
"This content is only available to users who have paid, so it..."

  • Age-restricted content (18+):
"This video is age-restricted. Due to YouTube policies..."

Proposal:

Add a "Paid" and "18+" icon to videos that have these attributes. NewPipe already has the red progress bar at the bottom of videos and the video's length in the bottom right corner. There's likely enough room to put two more icons in the video thumbnail or next to the description.

You can use a red "PAID" icon to represent paid content and a red "18+" icon to represent age-restricted content (I'm just throwing out ideas).

Why do you want this feature?

I would like to have these videos in my feed just to be aware of them, but there is no indication that they're unwatchable.
