Steps to reproduce the bug

1. On a German (or probably any non-English) configured Android system start NewPipe with default settings.
2. Open a German video like: https://youtu.be/J_voeYMmEiM
3. Click the channel to the the list of it's videos.

Expected behavior

In the video view the German description is being displayed. (German title is actually correctly displayed)
In the channel's video list the German title is being displayed.

Actual behavior

In the video view the English translation of the description are being displayed. (title is correctly in German)
In the channel's video list the English title is being displayed.

I experience the same behaviour. In the subscription feed, channel video list or playlist, the video title is in English although preferred language is German and preferred country is Germany.

When I open the video, the title is then shown in German. When I go back to the feed/channel after opening a video its title is now correctly shown in German.

However, the video description stays in English although it is originally German.

Interestingly I'm getting the reverse problem for the audio track here:

It's an originally English video, but NewPipe automatically plays the auto generated German translation of the audio track.

On my phone (see above) everything is still set to the System Default German.

Details

This looks like NewPipe somehow generally prefers a automatically translated audio track instead of the original audio.
Regardless of which language which audio track has. It just always senselessly picks the auto translated audio.
Although there's also an auto translated Spanish audio track. So I'm not sure if NewPipe picks the German translation by chance or somehow picks it from my language settings.

Expected Behavior

In the original problem (see above) the expectation is very clear. Simply deliver the original content if it fits the local language setting.
But in this reverse problem scenario, the expected behavior might depend on the users language preferences.

Speaking for myself:
Although my mother tongue is German, I like to get the original content for English videos. And I also speak a little bit of French and Spanish, so sometimes I might like to get the Spanish or French original content. But for other languages, I mostly like to get a translation.

Possible solutions

In theory users could configure a list of languages they likes to get translated. But that's probably not a nice UX.

=> The simplest solution is, to always get the original language content by default.
People probably mostly watch videos in a language they can understand. So the need for a translation is the exception. And users can always manually pick an audio translation.
I'd be pretty fine with that :-)
The only minor problem might be, that there's currently no UI to pick another language for the text (title and description). And I think the available translations for audio and text might not always match, which makes a selection UX even more difficult.

I wouldn't need the following. But additionally NewPipe could show a pop-up, asking to deliver the translated content if there's a translation available for the configured system language.
And optionally NewPipe could also remember the users choice to translate a certain original language to his mother tongue and apply this to all videos with the same original language. But in that case there should be a way to reset this setting.
This is pretty much what the new website-text translation feature in Firefox does.

I have the same issue in Newpipe 0.27.6 with Android in Spanish. The videos list is shown in English, while the video pages are seen in the local language. This occurs even when the preferred language adjustment is set to my local language.
